A Simple Conclusion
I decided to use the
simple grammatical words of the Bible to look
for answers in the science /
creation struggle. My study
moved me completely away from the dogma of
the last days, the
assumption that matter does not change. Of course, that makes me a fool
in the eyes of the world.
Questioning the elementary assumption of the last days is the most
foolish thing you can do. If
you even mention this little assumption, people wonder whether you have
taken leave of your
senses. Why then have I persisted in following this line of reasoning?
•
It
is consistent with a literal interpretation using the culture of that
era.
•
It
results in a different world view, not an accommodation
with science.
•
It
impacts all areas of scientific knowledge.
•
It
is simple. Even a child can get rid of the world’s elementary
assumptions and
understand things that no scientist can understand. A believer
needs
no mathematics to understand how God defeats the world’s system.
•
The age of the universe dilemma is answered simply without
mathematics. The Bible makes it very clear that
the world is very old. Yet it also lists
only seventy seven
generations from Adam to Jesus. Both of these things are equally
true when we understand that matter is always changing itself
relationally.
•
It
defeats the wisdom of man and makes faith in Jesus triumph. Very soon,
Jesus promises to
return in triumph. On that day we shall reign with Him in triumph. On
that day the pride
of man will be laid low and the simple folks with faith in Jesus
will glorify Him for the victory.
Dear reader. Do you have faith in Jesus as the Creator who
came to
die for the your sins? Jesus claimed to be Eternal God. He was
born as a
baby so that He could
take the judgment that we deserve. What does He require from us?
Most religions require that you DO something to EARN
everlasting
life. Some say you must give money or pray with all your might.
Some say you must
repent and turn over a new leaf. Some say you must go through certain
rituals. Others say you
need to have an ecstatic experience.
The Bible says, John 3:16 "For God so
loved the world,
that He gave
His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God,
24 being justified as a gift
by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; 25 whom
God displayed publicly
as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate
His righteousness, because
in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;
26 for the
demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, that He
might be just and the
justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Dear reader, if you rely on your great
mathematical, scientific
knowledge, rest assured
that He already made a
universe that defeats humanist logic. He does not deceive in word or in
action. His
foolishness is wiser than our
wisdom. He has every intention of abasing the proud and raising up the
lowly ones
who trust Him. Will you trust Him? He loves you. He died for you. If
you will put your faith in
Him He will accept you and forgive you.
